SOLARIS CUP OPENS THE 2017 SPORT AGENDA OF THE YACHT CLUB PORTO ROTONDO
Porto Rotondo, 2nd June 2017 - The Solaris Cup, yearly kermesse of the Friulan shipyard Solaris Yachts, opens the 2017 sport agenda of the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo.
Thirty-four models of lenghts between 32' and 72', lenghts that almost doubled those of last year, arrived in Sardinia from seven Countries (Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Malta, Great Britain and Spain) to challenge one another in two high-technical and compelling regattas.
The flagship model is the 58-feet Solaris, five of it are partecipating to the regattas, but all eyes are on the Stay Away, owner Luca Clerici, a new model of 52-feet Solaris. It is up to the English yacht Italian Job the record for the yacht arrived from further away.
"We are proud to host again the Friulan shipyard and its beautiful yachts. The 2017 sport agenda of deep-sea regattas could not be inaugurated better" states the President of the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo Roberto Azzi in his welcoming speech.
