ALL IS READY FOR TROFEO DEI DUE GOLFI - MEMORIAL BEPI CARLINI
Porto Rotondo, 23rd October 2020. The ninth edition of the Trofeo dei Due Golfi kicks off on Sunday 25th October. The historic event dedicated to Bepi Carlini, a great lover of sailing and a character loved by local sailors, is organized in collaboration with the Centro Nautico Olbia and with the contribution of the Marina of Porto Rotondo.
About 20 boats are expected to compete on the stretch of sea that connects Porto Rotondo to Olbia, passing under the high faults of the Capo Figari promontory. The challenge is expected to be exciting for the conquest of the legendary trophy. The starting signal is scheduled for Sunday 25th October at 11:00, with favorable marine weather forecasts.
Godmother and honoray guest of the event Mrs. Anna Maria Carlini, wife of Bepi Carlini to whom the trophy is dedicated.
For safety reasons, the President of the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo, Roberto Azzi, and the President of Centro Nautico Olbia, Mario Peralda, have agreed to cancel the social events scheduled on land, in compliance with the Covid-19 regulations and the FIV protocol.
