Alberto Amico elected President, Sandro Onofaro Vice-President, Daniele Moretti Petrassi Treasurer and Giulia Sallustio Ravizza Station Chief.
Porto Rotondo, 29 April 2021 – The new Board of Directors and associate positions were elected for the three-year period from 2021-24 during the General Assembly of the Porto Rotondo Yacht Club, which met remotely on Saturday 24th April.
Voting led to the election of: Alberto Amico (elected President), Massimo Brogna, Stefano Crisci, Mariusz Jan Demner, Arianna Gasbarra, Luigi Grandi, Daniele Moretti Petrassi (elected Treasurer), Sandro Onofaro (elected Vice President), Carlo Pesenti, Giulia Sallustio Ravizza (Head of Office).
The Assembly bid farewell to the outgoing President, Roberto Azzi, with affection and great recognition as he leaves the Presidency after two terms in which the Club reached important results in terms of affiliations, internationalization and visibility, also due to the creation of a Sportfishing Division.
After having thanked and warmly saluted outgoing President Roberto Azzi, the rest of the Steering Committee and all the members who had sustained and voted for him, Alberto Amico underlined his desire to interact in harmony and synergy with territorial institutions, the marina and the local community with the aim of consolidating the club’s activities and continuing the continue the work of sharing and integration carried out by the past management.
“Our Yacht Club is not just a sailing club, but a symbol that contributes to the identity and historical memory of Porto Rotondo. Through the growth of the club and the passionate participation of its members, we hope to grow further, both in terms of the services on offer and in terms of our social and cultural presence, together with Porto Rotondo Marina, the Porto Rotondo Consortium and the Porto Rotondo Foundation. – declared Alberto Amico, President-elect of Porto Rotondo Yacht Club – The already tried and tested activities of competitive sailing, regattas, sportfishing and courses for children and young people regarding the various disciplines and passions linked to the sea will remain at our core”.
