ALL IS READY FOR THE O' GAME OFFSHORE ROLLING

Porto Rotondo, 10th July 2017. Three days of competition, the first two favourites from flat sea, the second complicated by the entry of the Scirocco, which formed the sea, introducing a new coefficient of difficulty for the teams, who were ready for the new challenge.

At the end of the three days, where each made the most strikes and gave deep to teamwork, on the top step of the podium Team Luca and Andrea Mare climbed aboard Marbea, with 14 points.

Next, Gino Zambiati’s Argo II (11 points) and Riccardo Giorgico’s Sea Force (10). Between alalunga and imperial aguglie, the number of preys fished and partially released, compared to the participants, made the O Game Offshore Rolling the most pescosa race of the national circuit.

For the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo this is not the only seasonal event dedicated to deep-sea fishing. The traditional social competition is scheduled for August 22.

"The club is attentive to all sea sports, in addition to sailing we care about fishing, since the time of the Big Game Every proposal for new events is always welcome", the statement of the president of the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo, Roberto Azzi, "among our members, there are many fishermen: every opportunity is good for them to have fun".

The versatility of the partnership is always aimed at promoting the environmental qualities of the territory: its sea, with regattas and sailing school, and the land, also enhanced at the table, by the dishes of chef Michele Arzu, that merges research on local products of short chain and first quality to the origins of Ogliastra.

"Respect for our land", adds Azzi, "is also expressed in the electric mobility project launched by the club in partnership with Bmw Italy: after the first pillar installed in the marina, the initiative has extended to the Consortium. Soon, will be active other two charging points, which will make Porto Rotondo the first village in Sardinia for use of electric mobility".
